Since 1986
The Ramsey Wind Symphony was formed in 1986 to bring classical wind band music to northern Bergen County. Comprised of volunteer musicians representing a multitude of professions, the 45-member ensemble has performed throughout Ramsey, Mahwah and Suffern. The RWS is presently searching for new members in all sections. Potential candidates should share a comparable passion for wind band music and be available for Wednesday evening rehearsals.
Rehearsals
We rehearse Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm at the Community Church in Harrington Park, NJ.
Musicians
We are an ensemble of dedicated volunteers from the surrounding communities.
Repertoire
We pride ourselves on our varied repertoire of contemporary and traditional band literature, as well as quality popular and classical pieces.
